Sunday School
Sunday school has been the most effective tool for helping the church do its work, it has three characteristics: (1) the Bible has been the centerpiece of teaching; (2) the teaching has been by lay volunteers: and (3) evangelism has been at the heart. Sunday School is age/grade grouped which allow members to be a part of a small group of people in the same season of life.
Sunday School is a strategy, a plan for doing the work of the church. We invite you to join us for Sunday School this Sunday at 9:45 A.M. It becomes foundational to everything we do:
Sunday School is the foundational strategy at First Baptist Church for leading people to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and for building Great Commission Christians through Bible Study Groups that engage people in evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, ministry, and worship.
Sunday School is designed to reach people, Sunday School has responsibility for and opportunity to reach people, witness to the unsaved, teach the Bible, care for members and non-members, provide opportunity for Christian fellowship, and to pray. As such, it becomes a plan and a strategy for doing the church's work of evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, ministry, and worship. Discipleship
Various discipleship classes are offered throughout the year. The goal of discipleship class is to help believers to continually put themselves in a position of obedience to Christ. To encourage believers to engage in ministry with their families, the church, the community, and the world.
Women on Mission
The purpose of all Women on Mission activities is that every person have the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel. The heart of Women on Missions is to help women create their own missions vision by enabling them to:
1. Recognize
their status in Christ.
2. Find an
entry point to fulfill Christ's
mission in their lives.
3. Reflect
the highest ideals of Christian
living.
4. See their
lives as set apart for the
Gospel.
5. Affirm
God's call individually and
corporately.
6. Reach
beyond themselves to a global
vision.
7. Commit to
a rewarding missions lifestyle.

We meet every first Wednesday of the month in the church chapel. Come and join us.
Men's Prayer Breakfast
This is a special time where men gather for ministry and fellowship. They meet on the first and third Saturday mornings of the month at 8:00 AM. We invite you to come and join us!
