Responsibilities: Equipping this generation of students to be the spiritual leaders of our future. Helping students realize their God-given purpose in the midst of this Postmodern culture that tries to pull them in the opposite direction. My responsibilities also include coordinating events for our students, cooperating with other ministries, and showing them how truly amazing God is.

Vision for “Touching Families for Christ:
My vision for “Touching Families for Christ” is to disciple our students and help lead them into a deeper relationship with God. I hope to help them see that God’s Word is relevant to their everyday lives and that they can be in the world but not of the world.. Through prayer, Bible study, and the power of the Holy Spirit, our students will be transformed by the renewing of their minds, Romans 12:2.

What you like most about serving at FBCD: I get the opportunity to serve with God-glorifying staff and be a part of an amazing church family. I get the opportunity to work with amazing students who want to see God do amazing things in their lives.

Education: Graduate of Coffee High School. B.A. in Christian Studies from Brewton-Parker College, 2006. Currently pursuing a Master of Divinity Degree through the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

Spouse: Courtney Sheffield

Children: Only our puppy, Maggie.
